filewalker 0 Posted June 18, 2018 Share Posted June 18, 2018 Hello! I am having problems with the embyCon Kodi addon: playing series (all 720p) is working flawless, no problem. But if i want to play some Movies, it is only possible to watch the first some seconds/minutes. Then i get error message "Source to slow". it does not matter which movie or which playback rate. this happens exactly the same time, even if you skipp some minutes, the movie will hang on exactly the same spot. Watching the Movie via emby App or web-browser is working. I already set Streaming Data-Rate-Limit in emby server to 5mbit, on web browser i can see in the "stats for Nerds" "transcoding limit 5mbit" - as expected, but i guess, embycon is ignoring this - but how is this possible? even if you set the streaming rate to 500kBits in embycon, you get a fullHD movie. This behaivor is reproducable on EmbyCon for Kodi with Amazon fireTV stick, openElec und LibreElec on RPi1,2 and 3. Server is on 3.3.1.0 but problem was already there in the versions before.
