elts47 0
Hi Everyone, I really need all your help on this! My setup is as follows 1. LG OLED TV (running the Emby app) 2. 8-bay XPEnology Based NAS I have currently set-up my home media server as per the instructions on https://emby.media/nas-server.html and https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Synology-:-Setting-Up-Your-Media-Library-Share I have, mapped the Synology drive to File explorer (image 1 attached) also set-up Path substitution accordingly (image 2 attached). However, when I access the LG TV emby app, and start it up, it cannot even display my media library, consequently leading to a spinning circle of death (images 3 and 4 attached), my emby server would also be non-responsive on my computer. I had assumed that this was a problem of transcoding due to hardware (as my NAS has a very basic processor (Intel Xeon D-1527), however, I was under the impression, that path substitution had circumvented this via direct playing, in addition, I had also visited the User profiles and manually disabled forced transcoding (Image 5). The Logs are attached for your reference. Any assistance rendered would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much all! PS: My emby version is shown in the attachment emby log.txt
