AZRichG 10
There's a sentence in this article that worries me a bit- https://appleinsider.com/articles/18/06/06/inside-apples-move-to-ramp-up-security-privacy-in-ios-12-macos-mojave "As well as providing an extra level of protection to users, notarizing apps will also make it easier to revoke specific compromised versions of apps compared to the existing signing certificate system, which can revoke all apps using the same certificate. Apple advises that the notarization is not an app review process, but one that checks just for security issues. Developers are also warned that future versions of macOS will require Developer ID apps to be notarized before they can be installed." I'm sure this will be a 'cross that bridge when we come to it' kind of thing.

AZRichG 10
Now that I think of it, there must be some hoops to jump through for getting Emby on the App store for iOS, hopefully whatever Apple does in the future for MacOS is similar or even better/easier. Probably a more pressing issue is Github being bought by MS! Hope that doesn't affect anything badly.
