[BUG: Important/High] Image Fetchers

Bug: Image Fetcher settings are not saved if other edits have been made and not saved first. Workaround is to manage the Image Fetchers BEFORE making any other changes

Severity: Important/High

OS/Apps Effected: Server (via Web)

OS/Apps Effected relates to hardware that I have access too. If it doesn't state other OSes, it's not that it doesn't exist, rather it's that I don't have the hardware to check for it.

Not sure I understand as all the features are available during library creation if Show Advanced setting is enabled.

OK. Try this on a new library.

  1. Add new library
  2. Set type to movies
  3. Select a folder (any will do as this will be removed after the test)
  4. Set option shared name (if required)
  5. Scroll down to Movie Image Fetchers
  6. Click the settings gear
  7. Change number of images to 5 (or anything but the default) or the minimum size
  8. Close to accept changes
  9. Click the settings gear again and voila, the settings are back to what they were originally
  10. Click OK to accept new library
  11. Click newly created library to make changes
  12. Enable show advanced settings
  13. Scroll to Movie Image Fetchers
  14. Change number of images to 5 (or anything but the default) or the minimum size
  15. Close to accept changes
  16. Click the settings gear again and voila, this time the settings have been updated and saved

Hope that clarifies and shows you how to reproduce the bug

I am also having the same problem described.  When I first create a library and go to image fetchers and tell it to download primary, art, abnner, thumb, etc and click the back button it doesnt save the selections I made.  It goes back to the three default ones.  I have to create the library, let it scan my movies then go back in and make changes to tell system to download all forms of artwork.  By that time my movies have already be scanned into library.
