Old ssl cert still being used after new ssl has been configured

Hello, I have a old ssl cert that has expired so I have loaded the new cert onto the server but it is still hosting the old cert. I have tried restarting the emby server application multiple times, restarting the server, recreating the .pfx and reloading it and it is still using the old cert. Any suggestions as to why this is happening?

Thank you for your time,

When I access the emby site through multiple web browsers on multiple computers I am still getting Chrome: "Your connection is not private" with NET: ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID or Edge: "This site is not secure" Error Code: DLG_FLAGS_SEC_CERT_DATE_INVALID. Inspecting the cert I see that is using the expired cert and not the new valid cert which has an expiration date of 2020.

Yes I have tried restarting the apps on the on both the server and the client systems (as well as client systems) with the same error messages displaying.

I was not seeing any type of error message in the logs and it was allowing me access to the site from a https connection so from the looks of things it was. Since there was too many weird things going on with the cert I decided to nuke it from orbit and start fresh by rekeying the cert. But even after I rekeyed and placed the new cert onto the server the server log was saying that access was denied to the cert and I could not access the admin site from an https connection. I tried restarting the emby application 3 or 4 times as well as moving the cert to a new file location but that did not solve the issue. It was only after I restarted the entire server that the cert was then accepted and I was able to access the server from a https connection with the correct cert being hosted.

I was just following the sage words from Colonel Jack O'Neill from SG-1.. If you first don't succeed try, try, try try try try try again.

Thank you for trying to assist getting it back up and running.
