EduardoSantos 40
Although I could not verify this on a bunch of scenarios, I have the feeling there is a kind of screensaver on the web client. When Emby's web client is open on a Chrome tab and other tab is being used for some time, returning to Emby's tab quickly shows a backdrop image which almost immediately disappears revealing the actual client interface. I left Emby's interface open on the current tab display for a very long time and nothing happened. Is there such function as a screensaver on the web client interface? If so, what is the scenario to use it? Or does it only start when the tab is not being used?(!) Luke 36881
With the Emby Server 4.3 release, the web app will have a few screensaver options: Emby Logo, Backdrops, and Photos.
AxeMan 22
With the Emby Server 4.3 release, the web app will have a few screensaver options: Emby Logo, Backdrops, and Photos. Thanks Luke! I've been waiting for this for a while now. I enabled but don't see anything happening. Will there be further development on this such as timing, etc? I paused a movie on Emby Theater for about 20 minutes and no screensaver came up.
Luke 36881
It's not active during playback sessions, although we could look at that. Try just stopping playback.
AxeMan 22
It's not active during playback sessions, although we could look at that. Try just stopping playback. That would explain it! Thank you sir. Yes, paused would be great. This is literally the last thing holding me from ditching Win7 and the MCE client.
