I would assume he means the ability to enter a channel # & tune directly to it. I have close to 2000 channels with my provider & mostly watch channels in the 500 range. So when I want to watch say channel 504, i have to scroll several pages worth of channels instead of just having the ability to tell it to go straight to channel 504. Also, it doesnt seem like the search function works as far as channels, or anything in regards to livetv.

Favorite channels would go a ways to helping this. It would at least reduce the number of channels most users down.

In the interim, you can renumber the channels in wmc so that the ones you watch frequently are on the first page(s) of the browser.  Also, the next version of swmc will have an option to send a single channel group (defined in wmc) to a specific client.  That means you could pick a subset of channels in wmc and have only these channels imported into mbs.

I agree that this would be a very handy feature. I have channel groups set up in Windows Media server, and XBMC pulls those groups from ServerWMC. Would be nice if MB3 would also use those groups.
