Multiple Versions and Duration Display-Windows Web Client

With the multiple versions feature you get a pulldown in the web client to select the version.  When you do, the other pulldowns for audio tracks and subtitles also change for that version.  However the duration and the Ends At display remain the same even though the versions have different durations.  Would it be possible to have those two fields in the display change with the chosen version?
Thanks.

Haven't had a chance to look at this but I agree it makes sense. Thanks.

This would be great, especially for those movies where the length is significantly different. I've noticed this affects the ability to resume the longer version if the server reports the length as the shorter version.

Hi.

I wouldn't think this as a new feature to be requested, but a good way to properly complete the multi-version functionality, so everything makes sense when a given version is selected: duration, audio, subtitles...

I hope developers agree with this.

Meanwhile, I will go on looking forward to it.

Thanks!!

When using .disc files, some of my movies aren't showing the duration. I've got a 720p mp4 for the movie and a .disc file for the reference to the movie below on Disney+. But, the duration of the movie from the mp4 doesn't show up. It appears that if the .disc file is scanned by Emby first, then there's no way to populate the duration. However, it does seem that the Android TV app will change the duration based on which selection is made. The web app doesn't change duration.

Can this be fixed on ALL apps?

@cayars I already moved the .disc files out of my library, re-scanned, put them back and scanned again. So, everything is working now. I'll have to remember to scan everything with the real file first next time before adding the stub file. Ideally this would be fixed though so I didn't have to worry about which file was getting scanned first.

Wasn't this in another thread?

Pretty sure I mentioned a couple things to try.

Yes. In the other thread I said I would open a new thread.

Yes you did and that's what the @mention is for. I can't try those things because I did something else to fix it for now. It's only a temporary fix though.

Yes since the UI does not change when you select or a version is selected for you, so the metadata for the first item imported is used for the UI.
