1. When pressing record on a live TV show, the record button turns green and is highlighted by a green highlight. The button doesn't turn red to indicate the action took. You must let the OSD disappear and then have the OSD pop up to then see the red record button. This display state is confusing. The action should be - click the record button and it immediately turns red.

2. There is no way to instantly stop an active recording. The logical way would be to click a stop button (possibly changing the red record circle to a red square stop button), or add a second button. As it is now - if you click the red record circle, you are then told that you are now recording the series. What?! No! I just wanted to stop the recording on that episode! You then must go in to your series recordings to cancel the series recordings schedule. Definitely not user friendly.

I think it’s fairly common that pressing the recording button twice schedules the whole series.

I do separately agree that it is long winded to cancel an in progress recording
