EMBY for WMC takes 68 seconds before displaying splash screen

This just happened after not using EMC for a couple of days no changes have been made to the setup I am running server version 3.3.1.0 that was updated 3 days ago and latest version of EMC. Here are the first entries from the log and there are some strange entries for retries. I am not familiar with the IP address ending in 190 and also what is the Win 7 bug?

Your Server IP has changed. You should set the option in the settings on the main Emby WMC page to find the server automatically and log in. This will speed up the start significantly.

@@Luke

Well I tried my best but I either don't know where to look for the "Find Server Automatically" or I believe something else is wrong. Attached is a screen shot of the EMC configurator I don't have a Media Browser Classic configurator plus a screen shot of the advanced settings in EMC which shows the correct IP address for the server. Where does this 192.168.1.190 come from destination is not reachable when pinging but it was at one time as the 3/23/2018 log does not complain.

 

Below are the log entries from 3/23/2018 which worked just fine and from 3/31/2018 which has the long delay.

 

I changed in the network adapter the IP v4 to a static IP address. The server and the client are both on the same machine so they should be able to find each other easily.

 

Please assist me with some help.

3rd image... select the "-" sign next to the bad 'Current Server' IP to change to 'Find Automatically'.

Thanks that did the trick. Kind of strange as the PC has 192.168.1.31 as IP address and the server as well as client are on the same box. But all is well again :)

Setting a static ip for your server machine can help prevent this from happening in the future.
