If you have a remake of a movie, say "No Escape (1994)" and "No Escape (2015)" and this plugin, or the theme videos plugin, downloads something for one, and not the other, how will it every download for missing one?

 

It seems it puts in the filter "No Escape". So it will never go back and download for the other movie. (The TV plugins probably also exhibit this behavior as well.) Maybe it should also use the year, or some other way to "filter"? Maybe a way to disable the filter and just check for the file before attempting to download?

 

Also, I'm seeing things like this in the logs

Not sure if there are other extensions missing. I don't actually see those files in the folder. I'm guessing they get downloaded, then it fails to convert and deletes the offending file?

The filter can't be disabled, however, if you go in and just hit delete all then save, you can re run and it'll download the others. 

 

And looks like I'm missing a few mime types. I'll release an update to fix that.

No problem, easy to miss things in big active threads.

 

Would the option to include the year in the exclusion filter cause a lot of grief?

 

If so, no big deal. I wrote something for me that I think will take care of it but others might start reporting it.

Wow some people have to really check their replies, some of you sound quite entitled, but maybe it is me interpreting wrong.

 

You bought a plugin and if it doesn't work as mentioned, that is something you can bring up as a "bug".

If you THINK it should DO MORE than what is mentioned, that isn't the creator his problem, the price you pay is for the current functions.

 

You could suggest improvements or additions, but even then it doesn't mean you should get a free upgrade either...

 

Most of all be thankful someone has been willing to put time in creating those lovely plugins we all use to make our experience better!

Great plugin, quick question tho... just realized that after updating to Emby 4.0 my movie / tv theme plugins seem to have been uninstalled. No biggie, I can reinstall, but wanted to ask whether the plugin will attempt to redownload all the theme songs again? I spent a considerable amount of time making sure everything was correct before the update, i.e. some songs were incorrect so I just deleted or replaced them. It'd be nice if the plugin only downloaded new items in the library as to not mess up my existing data. Is this possible? How does the plugin treat items that already have themes??

I think I answered my own question... for anyone else curious after the update, after I did a reinstall of the plugins the filter lists were populated as they were before the update, i.e. all my changes were still there. So basically just reinstall the plugins and it everything should be as it should.

I have Emby Premiere and I also purchased a license for ytrailers. I haven't seen trailers since I installed it and in the logs I noticed the error below. The Ytrailers.dll plugin updated since I installed an is dated 2019-02-06. I'm running Emby in FreeBSD 11.2

Hey! So sorry i left the building for a while! Been all of a bit of a nightmare! The update for those who might be interested...

 

My dad had an absolutely massive heart attack and basically died on the table. Had to have a doctor perform cpr on him whilst riding the trolly to a defib. The defib failed the first time then luckily worked the second but things were that bad that he had to be ventilated and induced into a coma (from what I understand, was drowning from the fluids on his lungs which forced them to intubate).  He had a stent installed and was put in ICU for 3 days after which they woke him and took him off ventilation. At the time they thought he may have brain damage which had us even more concerned! He developed Pneumonia but gladly got through the other side and  has 5 broken ribs from the CPR. 

 

To make matters worse, during a scan to work out what the damage was (the ribs) from the cpr, they found a abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) at an ultra urgent scale which needs to be operated on asap, but can;t be until he recovers more from the hart attack and ribs!?!

 

After all of this, his Parkinsons took a bit of a turn for the worse but he gladly seems to been getting back on top of things and beating it back into place so hopefully once they sort this AAA he should be able to move on with life, or at least something like that! 

 

Anyway!... New releases will be coming out soon which should fix a few issues that have come up. Please let me know if you're ones of those having problems after the release and work with me a little as i'm spinning a few plates at the min

Hey @@radeon.

I know you pretty much have a bad time at the moment, however I would kindly ask you to refund one of my orders, as I think I bought it twice. I was having issues with all of your 4 themes plug ins, as they stopped working for me on Emby version 4.2.0.4/5 so I thought I need to download an update from your ballington site. However I now have the same key as before, when I bought all of the 4 plug ins 2 years ago and would like to have a refund of either 4, if that's possible. I just wanted to make it work, but it doesn't anymore. Your plug ins are one of my main reasons that I came back from Plex to Emby and I'd love to see them work again.

Oh damn! I didn't know, thank you Luke for that information. I just installed a clean beta server in order to get the plug ins work. Can I downgrade again from v4.2.0.5. to 4.1? That would be so cool, or do I have to make another clean install? :(

I just bought the pack of 4 theme media (Emby Theme Media). 3 of them work fine but the Movie Song Theme thinks I'm still in an expired trial and won't download anything.

I've restarted the server several times after uninstalling/reinstalling the plugin but it still won't work. I also tried registering my emby key again with no luck.

 

Strangely, in the plugin catalog, it says I have access to this plugin (used to be a red message saying trial has expired).

 

Any idea what's wrong?

 

 

EDIT: well I left it idle for a while and it seems to have fixed itself.

I am running Emby 4.2.1 on Windows 10 and I am a Premiere subscriber.  I purchased the 4-pack of plugins from Radeon's website, downloaded the plugins and restarted the Emby server.

The plugins show that I am registered: You are registered for this feature, and will be able to continue using it with an active Emby Premiere subscription.

 

**NOTE: Never mind.  It just seemed to start working eventually.

guess im having a moment of stupidity. just installed the movie theme song plugin. i assumed it did everything automatically. nothing has downloaded and only thing i see in plugin settings are for filters. It's safe to say I'm not understanding how to use this plugin. can some one throw me a bone here?

You just need to run up the scheduled tasks and the themes should download for you. :-)

Sorry, I'm not seeing anywhere that says anything about tasks or scheduling them within the plugin's settings. I have looked and noticed that the 9 titles i have added to my library since installing the plugin have had theme songs downloaded but not on existing title has had anything happen.I have run library scan a few times. I guess I'm not understanding what triggers the plugin to start scanning and downloading. I really hope i do not have to rebuild my entire library in order to get this to work.

The plugin registers a scheduled task within the Emby Server scheduled tasks section.

Hello, I got the full pack and recived the email, I can confirm that th ekey in the email is my active Emby Premiere Keu, but I keep Getting the error:

Hello,

I purchased the Movie Theme Plugin through Emby with PayPal. But I think because I have a different Email for Emby than I have with PayPal it didn´t register my payment. Is there a way you could change my email so it recognizes that I paid?
