zapras 2 Posted March 25, 2018 Share Posted March 25, 2018 I'm using the TVHeadend plugin with a DVB-S2 source, it's working fine. Emby for Windows and Kodi doesn't transcode. But the web app and the Windows Store version of Emby transcodes. Emby transcodes the container (fair enough), but also the audio and video. The main features of the video is H.264 codec and in 1080i. Here are the specs. Luke 36992 Posted March 25, 2018 Share Posted March 25, 2018 To answer the question about the store app, it does support all of these formats, but we are currently employing the help of the server in order to allow seeking of the live stream.
