I have been using plex, which absolutely doesn't work well as a server for my current setup.I need to use apple tv 4k as a client, and looked at the emby client, which looks great. My NAS is not fast enough to transcode live tv without substantial buffering, and emby isn't even supported on my nas. I am looking at getting a shield pro to use as the emby server, and run apple tv as a client... is this possible in this configuration? I also have a wd mycloud home 2tb drive for extra storage if needed. My main goals are to watch and dvr live tv, and slowly add movies to my storage over time.thanks in advance!
