"New" episodes not being scheduled?

I can get you logs next time it happens but just wondering if anyone else sees this?

I have a few shows scheduled that I know for a fact have a new episode coming up but Emby is not scheduling it to record. I can even go find that particular episode in the guide and its marked "new" yet it hasn't been scheduled.

Anyone else experience this?

The only time I notice this behavior is when the upcoming episode does not have an episode name or description. Once the guide is updated with this info the episode gets scheduled. BTW, I'm using schedules direct.

I have the series Pioneer Woman and also the newer show Final Space set up to record all show with repeats. I have checked off the "do not record episodes that already exsist..." (I have verified that these skipped recording do not already exist".

Last Saturday at 10am a new episode of Pioneer Woman was listed on the Trakt website as new. Same for the May 12th airing of Final Space.

When I go to my "Scheduled" tab in Emby neither of these shows showed up as pending recordings.

When I go the the "Guide" in Emby and navigate to those specific episodes, they are listed as new.

I waited for last weeks Pioneer Woman to come and go to see if it had any intention of scheduling it last minute. It did not. For Final Space, removing the entire thing from my wanted shows and re-adding it did result in that May 12th episode being picked up to record.

I am also using Schedules Direct. The fact that I can find the show in the guide and I see it as "new" suggests its an Emby issue and not a Schedules Direct issues?

Try unchecking this filter and see if that causes them to be scheduled to record. thanks.
