dejavux2 47
Hello, I'm on Emby for WMC Version 3.0.310.0 I don't know when this started, but the Auto-Scroll for Overview is no longer working. When I go to the config and go to Theme Options, the "Auto Scroll Overview" is checked. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! ebr 14860
Exactly where are you noticing this? I'm pretty sure it has only ever been supported in the detail screen.
dejavux2 47
Sorry for the late response. Actually, the detail screen is the only place it's not working. Emby > TV Shows.......... highlight a show, if the description is long, auto-scroll is working Emby > TV Shows > Enter into a TV Show........ highlight a season, if the description is long, auto-scroll is working Emby > TV Shows > Enter into a TV Show > Enter into a Season....... highlight an episode, if the description is long, auto-scroll is working Emby > TV Shows > Enter into a TV Show > Enter into a Season > Enter into an Episode..... if the description is long, auto-scroll IS NOT WORKING. So, it's the detail screen where the auto-scroll is not working. One2Go 98
Also using Throg's themes work the same way only in the detail window it does not work, but once you navigate to the place where the detail description is, you can page up or down to read all the description. Would be nice to have it auto scroll.

This is unlike when you are scanning trough your collection which is why I use auto scroll only really for those views. You do know how much I like your themes and try to make others aware of the features when possible thus my comment here. Regarding the auto scroll when you are in the detail window with a 10 foot remote the focus is on the play button to maneuver arrow up is easy to get to the description but to get back to the Play button not so easy because down arrow scrolls through the cast until the end when you are back to play. The only quick way is back out and enter again. When I am in a detail window I often read the description and it may change my mind to play it now or later. This is not a problem for 90% of the TV shows as they have very short descriptions unless they are foreign language. In any occasion thanks for posting and caring for your customers it is a big plus. Some that are on Emby Theater are waiting and might disagree

ebr 14860
I remember now - for Chocolate (the default theme) the overview dynamically adjusts its width based on the length of the overview in lieu of auto scrolling.

Ok, but it's not working correctly. The detail section is getting wider, but you cannot view all of the detail, as it is cut-off at the bottom. Thanks everyone. It is only the rarest of cases where this is a problem though.
