Trev22 0
Hi, I am trying this out and want to know if I can do the following as I did when using MB. A/ Set EMBY up to come on when I startup my computer....WMC is set to do this....I.E WMC opens on startup and away i go via entry points to view content. B/ Be able to use my WMC remote control for EMBY as i currently do via WMC/MB.. C/ Are plugins still available to view content as I used to in MB. I am struggling to set this up that looks like anything like the old and much loved MB so any help is appreciated. I only want to use this on my home computer. Thankyou. So i am slowly getting there. Server confirmed and Emby Theater installed. Remote seems to be working now except when the home screen first appears from start up. I have to click the mouse and then the remote will function???.......In views i select and check the Genre boxes but i only end up with a blue exclamation mark on the view tab. Is this because i need to purchase the license in order to use that feature. i do apologise if this is easier to set up than i am making it out to be??? Main issues then - Why i need to click the mouse for the remote to work from the home screen? I know i need to license EMBY Theatre for full playback, but do I have to purchase EMBY Theatre in order to filter/view by Genre? I have also tried the live TV set up in the dashboard with no success. I have Compro Videomate E700 DVB-T tuners x 2 on my machine but it doesn't find them. How to set this up if possible. I have read the online articles. Edited February 13, 2018 by Trev22
Luke 36881
I know i need to license EMBY Theatre for full playback, but do I have to purchase EMBY Theatre in order to filter/view by Genre? No you don't. All you do is click the filter button, then you'll get a popup with some filters in it, and you can filter by genre within that popup. Does this answer that question? Trev22 0
Hi - I did check the Genre boxes in there but nothing seems any different after exiting. I will try this again. Thanks. Edited February 14, 2018 by Trev22

It has served me for 15years while running WMC of course i don't want to replace if i don't need to. I also have R&D PC and 40years as network engineer, so if you require any assistance please ask Edited October 5, 2021 by Jakkson2577
