Richard Branches 231
If the first ever episode aired of a TV show is an special episode, Emby is not showing the first episode of that special, instead, it's replacing it with the first episode of the first season, while the remaining episodes of the specials and seasons are displayed in the correct order, including the first episode of the first season. The files inside every tv show folder in my computer are organized like this: The Six Million Dollar Man: The Six Million Dollar Man - S00E01 - Cyborg - Pilot <- Skipped (originally aired 1973-03-07) The Six Million Dollar Man - S00E02 - The Moon and the Desert <-Skipped (originally aired 1973-03-07) The Six Million Dollar Man - S00E03 - Wine Women and War (originally aired 1973-10-20) The Six Million Dollar Man - S00E04 - Solid Gold Kidnapping (originally aired 1973-11-17) The Six Million Dollar Man - S01E01 - Population Zero (originally aired 1974-01-18) The Bionic Woman: The Bionic Woman - S00E01-E02 - The Bionic Woman <- skipped (originally aired 1975-03-16) The Bionic Woman - S00E03 - The Return of the Bionic Woman (1) (originally aired 1975-09-14) The Bionic Woman - S00E04 - The Return of the Bionic Woman (2) (originally aired 1975-09-21) The Bionic Woman - S01E01 - Welcome Home, Jaime (1) (originally aired 1976-01-14) See the attached screenshot: In the following examples, the tv shows in the screenshots have the first episode of the first season at the beginning of the list where the first episode of the special should be, that same episode is repeated more ahead where it's supposed to be. On the Android TV app we can see the problem much better because the android phone app and web app display one item only. I have more tv shows with this problem but it's not necessary to post every single screenshot because the problem is the same. It's important to note that when a TV show has specials that were broadcasted across or after the first season, they appear in its correspondent order. Luke 37060
tvshowname - S00E01 - episodename tvshowname - S00E02 - episodename tvshowname - S00E03 - episodename tvshowname - S01E01 - episodename tvshowname - S01E02 - episodename tvshowname - S01E03 - episodename Can you replace these with specific examples? i can't tell from your screenshots what you are expecting to happen. Also just fyi - this is most likely not a bug and instead requires certain metadata, but we'll get to that once i've seen the examples. thanks. But the issue is if the first episode of the whole tv show is an special, regardless if the files exists or not in the computer, for example, in my case, on the six million dollar man, I don't have the S00E01 but I do have S00E02, the server is not showing that one, instead it's showing the S01E01, when it should display S00E02. Richard Branches 231
Not showing where? The screen shot you posted is listing episodes from Season 1... No!, look at the picture attached here again, as you can see the first episode on the left is first episode of the first season, right?, ok that's not the episode that should be first, instead, it should be the first episode of the special, or the first file that the server finds, in my case, since I don't have S00E01 then the server should display S00E02 because that's the file I have and so on. That's the Android TV version, but if you take a look at the screenshots of the original post you can see the issue is general across all the apps although the Android TV version is the only one that let us see the two thumbnails repeating. Richard Branches 231
Oh, I forgot to mention that if I hit play on that episode, it actually plays the one advertised (S01E01) and not the one that's supposed to be there (S00E02). There are differences (presentation) as the image you posted for Android TV is different from what the Web client shows. So yes there can be a specific client issue.
