Subtitles are not downloaded

Hi all,

I am new with emby server and may be I am doing something wrong and dumb but currently I am not able to make my emby server installation to download subtitles from Opensubtitles.org

My server is (Taken from emby log):

    Operating system: Unix 4.14.15.64
    64-Bit OS: False
    64-Bit Process: False
    User Interactive: True
    Processor count: 4
    Program data path: /var/lib/emby
    Application directory: /opt/emby-server/system

    Application version: 3.2.70.9

This is armhf version running on AARCH64 based SoC.

My subtitles config looks like this:

5a7596a1bc43d_2018020313_01_27Subtitles.

5a7595e32fec8_EmbySubtitlesConfig.png

When I add files to the library, I am able to see requests to subdb in logs like the following one:

2018-02-03 10:47:09.804 Info HttpClient: GET http://api.thesubdb.com/?action=search&hash=C28F1D11BDF12742BCF25572428233F7

but no requests to opensubtitles.org in logs (even with debug logging enabled)

Also adding username and password to the config didn't help.

Media Info for the file which is used for example:

5a75970f60ae3_MediaInfo.png

Same results with 3.2.70.6 and 3.2.70.0 versions.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I tried to provide as much info as possible but if you need any other log/data, I will provide them ASAP

Did you enter your open subtitles username and password? You will need that in order to be able to download.

Same effect with or without username/password.

After making rescan on the library I see the following log:

HTTP Response 204 to 192.168.1.19. Time: 11ms. http://192.168.1.27:8096/emby/Items/d2aa9162f67ed63cca01636f2365d747/Refresh?Recursive=true&ImageRefreshMode=FullRefresh&MetadataRefreshMode=FullRefresh&ReplaceAllImages=false&ReplaceAllMetadata=true
2018-02-03 15:50:09.680 Info HttpClient: GET http://api.thesubdb.com/?action=search&hash=C28F1D11BDF12742BCF25572428233F7

But don't see any request to opensubtitles.org and it doesn't download any subtitles.

Check that your movies and series have imdb IDs. Then the episodes in the series need to have their season and we episode numbers filled out.

After that if you still think there's and issue then please attach the complete log file of an example. Thanks.

can you enable debug logging under the server logging menu, restart the server, and then repeat the test? then please attach that log. thanks.

I'm aware that this topic is a couple of months old, but as I can't see that there it was ever resolved and I seem to be experiencing the same behaviour, I thought I would post here rather than start a new topic.

This is an example of what appears repeatedly in my log during a scan for missing subtitles:

Am I correct in thinking that subdb was only added as a subtitle provider earlier this year?  It does seem that is where the issue is, and that the error is causing no subtitles to download at all.  As far as open subtitles is concerned, I do have my username/password saved in Emby, and subtitles have in the past downloaded.

@, there's nothing to worry about there, that's just subdb saying they don't have subtitles based on the search criteria. We will remove that from the log file. thanks.
