Unable to stream live TV at all.  In the logs I'm seeing a lot of the error below.  Any idea what is causing the native Live TV module to error when trying to connect to the tuner?

From a quick google search those errors appear to be related to how you're running as a service:

This problem typically occurs after an administrator uses a service account to log on to the server for an interactive session, and then logs off. For example, an administrator may log on to a Web Front End (WFE) server by using the farm account, and then log off. This activity forces the registry keys to be unloaded in the profile of that account. This condition makes the keys unavailable for future use.

For testing purposes can you try just running the regular tray icon app? thanks.

What do you mean that I'm running as a service?

hi @@FGaray, based on this log, it appears to still be running as a service. Please try shutting it down, and then launch emby via the start menu:

Command line: C:\Users\Emby\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\EmbyServer.dll C:\Users\Emby\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\MediaBrowser.ServerApplication.exe -service

Based on the command line it appears you are still running as a service:

Command line: C:\Users\Emby\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\EmbyServer.dll C:\Users\Emby\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\MediaBrowser.ServerApplication.exe -service

How about this. Try shutting down the server completely, the run this exe:

C:\Users\Emby\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\EmbyServer.exe

Then try again. Thanks.

I can stream now!  YAY!  Hopefully it will stay this way.  LOL

Quick question.  Can you have a Hauppage and HD Homerun tuner in the same server?

@@FGaray, i see you're running as a windows service. try shutting down the windows service and instead run Emby Server using the regular tray icon app.

Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

Actually it looks like we're back to the same advice from earlier in this thread, so I would just refer to those suggestions. Please let us know if this helps.

I have done that with no results. If I do not run the service as the local admin account I will not be able to access the network shares in the N'AS appliance.

Did you install the server originally with the local admin account? I would make sure to run the server with the same user that installed it.

Hello.  I've done as suggested.  Rebooted the server and still was unable to stream live TV.  I did installed the server with the local admin account.  Everything was working fine until I switched from using NextPVR to the native Live TV.  Now that the Emby service is not running as a local account, I can not access my shares in the NAS as previously stated.

Further.  Removing the HD Homerun tuner and re-adding it back fixes the problem.  It works for about a day or so and then it stops working..

I did! Look at the picture I sent you. It won't run.

Like u said, deleting the tuner and re-adding the tuners temporarily fixes the issue and I'm able stream Live TV. It will work ok for a day or 2 and then it stops requiring for me to delete/re-add and reboot the server.

The picture you sent is a picture of windows service setup. What I'm asking is to try running without the windows service at all.
