happypup6969 0 Posted January 10, 2018 Share Posted January 10, 2018 Hi, My Emby server runs on a Synology NAS and that server is connected to the Internet via StrongHold VPN. I can access the server from my local network, but cannot from the Internet. I have noticed on the Dashboard that it has my Remote Access address wrong, not the address that either my ISP has provided me, or that StrongVPN has me connected through. When I try to connect from the Internet I get the error: "We're unable to connect to the selected server right now. Please ensure it is running and try again." In addition, I was under the impression that I did not need to port forward port 8096 on my router when using Emby Connect, is that not true?
