Emby Theater - Latest Media - Home Screen

Hello,

 

I am a new Emby Premier subscriber and am excited to use the Emby Theater. I seem to be missing the home screen options that I have in the web browser. Is there a way to add the Latest Media section to the Home Screen of Emby Theater?

hi @@JulsPlus, welcome. The horizontal home screen currently doesn't respect all of these settings. If you go into emby theater display settings by clicking your user icon in the top right, then switch to the vertical home screen. Then the app will respect all of your home screen settings.

 

We'll be updating the horizontal version to use these settings in the future. please let us know if this helps. thanks !

So after reading multiple threads this one looks to have the closest comments to what I am looking to do.

 

I want to display "Latest Media" to my users, but not for every library.

 

I would like to hide or disable specific libraries from the latest media views on the home page.  I really only want the users to to see latest DVR, Latest TV Shows and Latest Movies.  Essentially looking to hide the "Latest" from other libraries like Music, Home Videos, Books, Photos etc.

 

Can this be done?  Is it at the user level, library level?  I just can't seem to find how or where to exclude a library folder from the latest media view.

Hi there, have you explored the home screen settings by clicking on the gear icon next to my media?
