myriaxis 3
Hi, I just sent a log from the Emby for Roku app. Time: 2018-01-07 19:34 EST User: Francois Emby server : 3.2.60.0 Emby for Roku : 3.0.54 I created a mkv file (Blade Runner 2049) encoded with Handbrake (x265 10 bits, CRF 23, HE-AAC 5.1 bitrate 256). When played on my Roku 3 with the Emby for Roku app, the audio low frequencies sound like cracking noises. When played on my Roku 3 with the Blue Neon app, it's not as bad, but I hear cracking noises also. When played on the Web App, it plays fine. When played on VLC, it plays fine. Where should I start to fix this playback problem? Thanks
Luke 37009
Can you also attach the emby server and ffmpeg log? you can learn how to do that here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks.
myriaxis 3
Hello Luke, Here are the files. In the server log, I see a lot of DLNA error reports. Should I be concerned? server-63650880000.txt ffmpeg-transcode-3c7aab20-05c9-42d9-8973-e325ad852014.txt ffmpeg-transcode-3cd6f5b7-395a-4d30-af75-fbe5df9a06ec.txt
Luke 37009
As a test, can you go into server transcoding settings and change the audio downmix boost from 2 to 1? See if that makes a difference. thanks.
myriaxis 3
Hello Luke, Sorry for the long delay. Changing the audio downmix boost from 2 to 1 in the transcoding options of the Emby Server seems to solve the problem. I'll test it with other mkv files to confirm. Thanks.
