When you report your capabilities, you need to include PlayMediaSource as a command that you support. The wiki about that is updated here: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby/wiki/Web-Socket Granted, this isn't actually a command, but I wanted to allow for a way to have apps opt into supporting it, rather than exposing the UI for all apps and then having users report that it doesn't work. Once you've done that, when you receive a play command, the MediaSourceId will be included. That is also discussed in the link above.
