Guest asrequested

I have a similar issue with my unifi gateway. There isn't enough juice for the encryption, in my case. You may want to enquire about that.

It seems like a pretty decent router. What are your speeds like on that connection without the vpn being involved?

I am not sure how much difference this makes but i noticed this bit: cipher' is used inconsistently local='cipher AES-128-CBC' remote='cipher BF-CBC'

Where are you in relation to the VPN server?  What are your speeds like when leaving the router alone and using a VPN client on a different device?

without vpn, this is my norm or faster. with vpn it drops to less that 50down but upload stays the same.

When outside your network and connecting in via VPN I would expect your speeds to be mostly your upload speed. So getting about 50mbps when connecting via VPN sounds pretty good unless gigablast is supposed to be gig up and down but that's a question for Cox.
