Kelmino 17
When using the WebUI xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8096/emby/web/login.html It always requires me to sign in twice, basically it does this. Click on Login Bookmark Click on a Person 1 - Logs in fine Click on Login Bookmark Click on Person 2 - Shows persons 1 media Click on Login Bookmark Click on Person 2 - Shows Person 2 media Click on Login Bookmark Click on Person 3 - Shows Person 2 Media Click on Login Bookmark Click on Person 4 - Shows Person 3 media It seems to always show the last person who logs in, and requires us to log in twice no matter the person. Is there another way I should be going to the log-in screen via the WebUI, or is this just how it is? It's been like this for as long as I can remember, and figured I'd finally post something about it in case there was something I was doing wrong.Browser Chrome: Doesn't seem to be different on the version of Chrome, but currently using version 61.0.3163.100 on OSX, but I've seen it countless times on my main windows PC. Emby Server 3.2.36.0: But again, it's been going on ever since I can remember. Thanks in advance for anything that may help fix this slight annoyance. mastrmind11 717
Probably because you're not logging out at the end of your session and it's set to remember the last user that logged in. What happens if you log out and then go to the login page and click a user?
Kelmino 17
Yes, if I log out it works fine. Is there a setting that I missed to not save the last user?

There is a setting in the apps, not sure if there's one in the browser since I don't use it, but seems like there must be.

Have you considered your bookmarks are outdated? Edit: This has been reported before, but it is a refresh issue when logging in over another user that has not logged off. @@Luke Refreshing the page shows the proper user. Yeah, I couldn't find that anywhere . :/ Why do you have /emby in your url? Have you considered your bookmarks are outdated? That's what it redirects me to after I logged in, would having /emby cause any issues anywhere? The family has learned to live with it, it's just a little annoyance that I'd like to get rid of at some point, it's really only ever an issue when guests want to watch Emby, I just have to make sure I set it up for them instead of letting them log into guest by themselves. Thanks for the replies though.

Kelmino 17
the best bookmark is just http://localhost:8096 When I've done that, it just logs the last user in, and we have 4 user accounts in our house that all get used frequently on the main TV. Luke 37058
If the users have a password, then the login screen will have a "remember me" checkbox.

Luke 37058
Ok, well that still remains the recommended approach. Perhaps having the checkbox also in app settings would make sense.
