What is the recommended way to add a TV series for Auto Organize to work, I have looked and can not seen to find any information about it?

 

I want to add a new Series but even if I manually create the sub directory and restart the server it will not show up in the Edit Metadata screen.

 

I want to retire MediCenter Master  but until Movies are handled and it can create new TV Series I have to still keep it around.

create the series folder, then create a season folder. the realtime monitor should pick it up in 20 seconds or so and start downloading metadata.

I tried as you suggested and created a Folder called  "Franklin and Bash" with 3 season folders names "Season 1" through "Season 3", nothing happened.  Here is the log file.

well you have to get the series to show up in your library first. then after that, auto-organize will work

That is the question that I have, what do I have to do to get it to show up?  I created the folders now what is the next step?

 

I know I can get it started with Media Center Master but I would prefer not to use it.

 

I don't mean to be a pain but what am I missing?

I'm interested if this is on the planning board for this feature as well. Automatically creating series/season folders would take an annoying step out of the equation for automating everything.
