jaketame 86
Not yet. Sorry to bother you again... Three things I feel are missing - Auto Merge of movies including cross directories - Transcode using 1080p version not 4K version - Merging of TV Episodes including cross directories Eg /data/media/tv/show/episode 1.mkv /data/media/tv/show/episode 1 - 2160p.mkv /data/media/movie/film.mkv /data/media/movie/film - 2160p.mkv Any timeline for these? Weeks / Months? Thanks
Luke 37060
I can't offer an ETA but I would check our wiki to learn about our existing support for multi-version files: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Movie%20naming#multi-version-movies Thanks. jaketame 86
So i've renamed and merged folders as per the wiki. root@@Plex:/data/movies/A Wrinkle in Time (2018)# ls -lrt total 57534844 -rw-r--r-- 1 usenet usenet 50384298930 Jun 8 22:53 A Wrinkle in Time - 2018 - Remux-2160p.mkv -rw-r--r-- 1 usenet usenet 8531381133 Jun 14 15:12 A Wrinkle in Time 2018 - Bluray-1080p.mkv However Emby is still not auto-grouping them;
Luke 37060
That isn't quite matching the wiki. The file names need to start with the exact folder name.
jaketame 86
That isn't quite matching the wiki. The file names need to start with the exact folder name. So in this example it needs to be with the date in brackets? - This doesn't match anything that Sonarr / Radarr provide... Can we look to expand Embys import to be a bit more relaxed...? root@Plex:/data/movies/A Wrinkle in Time (2018)# ls -lrt total 57534844 -rw-r--r-- 1 usenet usenet 50384298930 Jun 8 22:53 A Wrinkle in Time (2018) - Remux-2160p.mkv -rw-r--r-- 1 usenet usenet 8531381133 Jun 14 15:12 A Wrinkle in Time (2018) - Bluray-1080p.mkv
Luke 37060
Yes we can look at making them a little less strict for a future update. Thanks.

jaketame 86
Just checking in on this 1) Any improvements to naming conventions detection? 2) Any better support for multiple movies such as 4K + 1080p and then users transcoding but using the 1080p copy? Thanks
Luke 37060
For #1 not at this time. For #2 probably but I would try it and let us know. Thanks.
