Repository not available

Hi guys,

One thing I have noticed quite frequently is that the repository for emby seems to be missing/not available quite a lot.

I notice this whenever I run an "apt update".  Currently I am running Ubuntu 16.04 as my server.  My sources file is:

deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/emby/xUbuntu_16.04/ /

It works sometimes, but seems to be down quite a bit.  Going to the actual site the xUbuntu links or folders do not seem to exist atm.

As you can see from this screen shot.. nothing there.

Is this a known issue?   And are there alternative mirrors I can use?

Thanks

Talung

There's nothing we can do about that but soon we'll have a new install process. Thanks.

Are you guys looking for a repository to host it on?

One thing I truly hated about Plex was the terrible method of updating a Linux server. Emby is great with a repository (when it works lol) so would hate to go back to a manual style update.

But thanks for the info.

We will just be publishing packages for download. Here is the testing thread:

For us it means no more being dependent on repository which can make it impossible to install the software when it has an outage. And it also means fewer installation steps.

Thanks I will take a look at that.

Don't really read a lot of the forums, so missed a lot.
