For me, the TimeLord movie plug-in was saying that it had expired before updating to v17.9.29.1119. I thought the update was being pushed to fix that. Unfortunately, that is not the case. After updating the plug-in, the trial period is still identified as having expired. The TimeLord TV plug-in still works. But when I looked at the install options in the catalog, the trial period is going to expire in 12 days. Log file indicates both plug-ins loaded fine when Emby started. But further down in the log there are the following warnings for each plugin: "Info SecurityManager: Not registered for feature TimeLord[Movies]". I personally don’t get why you’d run the movies version all the time, surly it’s a one hit kinda thing for when you build a server from scratch, unless you are adding old movies in all the time, for that the trail period would do it easily. The tv version I used to use all the time, as I’m constantly adding new shows from my old dvd re-coding which is why I wrote the code in the first place. In plex I just run a Sql statement. Because i like my movies that are displayed in the "Latest Movies" section on the dashboard to show in order of release, like a movie theater ish website. I want that display to literally be the latest movies vs latest added movies. I'll pay for this, are you going to continue to maintain it? considering it doesn't sound like you even use it.. My family generally records a show or series until we have time to watch it then we delete it. I know lots of people like to keep large tv collections, But I think most people that come from a commercial DVR setting, are in the habit of watching/deleting. Now most people, including me, have movie collections that we like to maintain, again maybe because we come from the days of having a large DVD collection that we were proud of, lol I don't know. I like the movie version, because I used to hate when you go to netflix to check out "new movies" it was loaded with a bunch of old crap, I often though this isn't new, but it was new to netflix. That was one thing I didn't like about emby. Then if for some reason I had to rebuild my database... Uhhg it screws up everything, your plugin helps fix up that issue too. How will the server know if we registered? it does it through your existing emby supporter code... you have to go to the plugins library and install the paid for plugins again. At least I did. If you have any suggestions about how this and the TV version can be improved please let me know, all reasonable suggestions will be considered. and to clarify... yes this did used to be a free plugin, however to continue supporting this, and the barrage of emails that I've had to go though recently, its only fair for me to charge a small fee, which after currency charges is less than you think it is. If you have issues with the plugins as i roll out changes, try reverting back to the previous version. also bear in mind timezone and work commitments, I can't always respond immediately! Sammy 735 Posted October 2, 2017 Share Posted October 2, 2017 I just clicked on Plugins > Time Lord Movies > Settings and this is what was returned: "Nothing to configure I tried to uninstall and my server won't re-load from a WAN connection. You simply run the scheduled task, I’ve since updated this screen to give you more info on how this works. Yes, its been a supporter plugin for a long time, however I've had to rewrite it, and in order to continue supporting it, I've made it a chargeable plugin, that way anyone who pays for it becomes my customer, and I'll sort out your issues, like I have been doing since people started, contacting me. So I uninstalled both versions and rebooted, they both came back by themselves with the same messages. Any other suggestions? The TV version seems to be working since I have time left.
