No LiveTV with TVHeadend

Hi there @@Tolotos,

I'm trying to get LiveTV on my devices but it doesn't work with any of them.

TVH is connected and seems to be OK.

I'm using OMV with HTS Tvheadend 4.0.9-16~g63c1034~jessie with the actual plugin and Emby-Server Version 3.2.32.0.

I do get EPG but no video.

In the attached log I tried to play livetv within my browser and on my Sony TV.

I also tried it on my chromecast ultra but also no success.

A week ago I tried the inofficial vdr-plugin which at least showed a video on the chromecast.

Any ideas ?

THX

Hi,

what does it mean that "@ Tolotos" was added to my post ?

If one of the admins thinks that this post should be posted in the TVHeadend-plugin-thread please move it there.

You are using a pretty old version of tvh. Current version i have is 4.2.3 on my omv/debian 8.9 setup. That could have a lot to do with it. One thing to look at is under tvh -> status -> stream on the tvh web client do you see the stream being opened when you try to load a channel in emby?

Even I did not expect it I did an upgrade to TVHeadend. --> "HTS Tvheadend 4.2.3-87~g5b7886e"

Still no progress.

Could somebody give me an advice.

did you look at the stream section of tvheadend as I mentioned for status. also use the double up arrows at the bottom of the tvheadend webpage to see the logs realtime. You should be able to see emby login and open the stream or try to

I did this to summon tolotos for help. We (team Emby) can only help with the Emby side of things. I personally have never used tvheadend.
