braddles69 7
Hi guys, first let me apologise because this has been happening for a few months, and I should have reported it when it first happened. This is on my windows machines, (HTPC and laptop, running windows 7 WMC, and win 10 (wmc plugin). Both have latest servers running, and feeding them from my synology nas I had watched status working correctly for years and at some point it stopped, (2 young kids running around so I do not watch as much anymore). I don't recall changing anything except maybe linking trakt plugin??? Again my apologies as I can't provide much info to help problem solve, so I hope it is maybe the actual watched status trigger requirements have changed and I haven't ticked a radio button somewhere, is this possible? Sorry again for the generalness of the reporting, but hoping it's something small that has changed and I can correct it quickly
Luke 37007
What do you mean by watch status not triggering?
braddles69 7
Thanks Luke, as in when you have watched a series or movie, up to 95%, the watched/played indicator shows on the folder or episode.
Luke 37007
Then it sounds like it is working as expected, no?
braddles69 7
No, just describing how it used to work, it isn't happening anymore, I have to manually (ctrl+w) indicate played status.

braddles69 7
Yep ok, Using latest emby server and emby for wmc as client, played "Halt and Catch Fire Season 4 E04, navigated to near the end and let it finish, exited and status shows as "Not Played". Luke 37007
And are you using an external player with Emby for WMC? And if yes, which player?
braddles69 7
yes using mpc-hc...on the chocolate theme underneath the " tv emby" coverart image of the episode thumbnail
Solution Luke 37007 Posted September 16, 2017 Solution Share Posted September 16, 2017 Try going through the external player setup process again. In particular make sure to double check the mpc-hc web interface that must be enabled in order for this to work.
braddles69 7
Ok not sure I understand, I looked at "Emby for WMC configurator" and checked the mpc-hc options, and also the tip which included disable "last file position" and also "dvd position"...this didn't have an effect, still not changing to "played" staus.i Was this what you were referring to?
