Emby Asustor Package

@@Luke are the "Premium" plugins compatible with the Asustor apk version 3.2.32.0 ?

I cannot see any "Premium" plugins within the Catalog. I cannot see Premium plugins such as Playon, Movie Theme Songs, Movie Theme Videos, TV Theme Songs, TV Theme Videos, Emby Statistics & Timelord Movies/Timelord TV. I'm specifically after the Timelord plugins.

Is this due to me migrating from Emby for Linux Mono version 3.2.30.0 to Emby Asustor apk version 3.2.32.0 via the use of the backup & restore plugin? I used this plugin to restore the database etc and manually copied over the metadata folder for all images etc.

Everything appears to be working well in the Emby Asustor apk version 3.2.32.0 (including VA API hardware transcoding support!) apart from not being able to see/install "Premium" plugins from the Catalog.

Is this a known issue or something with my setup? I can post logs if required.

You're able to see all plugins that are compatible with your edition of the server. If/when the developers of those plugins make theirs compatible, then you'll be able to install them.

Thanks @@Luke . As the TImelord plugins previously worked under the unofficial Linux Mono version of Emby (that was published by Asustor on their App Central store), does this mean it should work under the official Emby apk?

Or will this require @@BeppoMonkeyBoy & other developers to update their "Premium" plugins to support this new Emby official Asustor apk version?

Hi, on my Ausustor 6302 (very potential hardware), Emby regularily crashes. It has become worse, now Emby stays on max 5 Minutes and crashes. I always need to shut it down via ADM (there it looks like Emby still would be running) and start again. I have the latest version (https://emby.media/nas-server.html) installed. I attached my server logs, maybe you can see something there, I am a basic linux user and don't get any clue out of them.

Best regards

I've tried, but now emby crashes after about 10 seconds so that I can not get to the logs - or do anything else (I wanted to delete the Foto-Library).

ok, try rebooting the device. that unhandled error is just something that can happen if the device takes longer than usual to free up the port after shutting down emby.

I noticed that sometimes emby still hangs and when I try to access it I get "Page not found".. basically I need to turn off the app and turn it back on in asustor appstore and then all starts working again.. I have added my logs.. what I noticed in the alerts section was that I had one error where task scheduler encountered and issue and about an hour later there was another alert that said cache was unable to be cleared because of too many files..

Emby Server 3.2.33 for Asustor is up for download on our website. As part of our promise, Asustor builds are immediately available following the new release.

Enjoy.

 Ok, I again have been too early pleased. Again it crashes. I copied the logs from home/emby again... As you can see, the *600 log is quite huge, it worked for a while. And since then - crashes.

Hi,

i decided to delete the emby installation and I made the home/emby directory empty. Then I've installed 3.2.33.0. Emby server did not start when clicking on the icon, so I've started it via ssh "nohup /usr/local/AppCentral/emby-server/bin/emby-server &"

As soon as I started to add my photos, the log shows a lot of errors, all like:

2017-10-07 01:00:37.139 Error App: Image Provider - Error reading image tag for /volume1/Fotos/2008-Privat/2008-Wohnung/DSC02359.JPG

And finally it crashed with this as the last lines:

I've deleted the Photo-library, but now emby still crashes. Last lines were:
