Unable to launch Media Browser Classic - another one

Hi

 

I have just upgraded to MB3.

 

Machine 1

Windows 7 X64 fully patched to 20/02/14

 

Server

Version 3.0.5135.31685

 

MB Classic

Version 3.0.129.0.2-12.2

 

Machine 2

Windows 7 X32 fully patched to 21/02/14

 

MB Classic

Version 3.0.129.0.2-12.2

 

 

On Saturday I installed the server and MB Classic on Machine 1 and scanned for all content. Everything worked OK and I can use MB Classic, Had to update the Chocolate theme in configurator.

 

Today I installed MB Classic on Machine 2. The install was clean as far as I can tell.

 

Started Server on Machine 1 and checked it was running. Started MediaCenter on Machine 2 and then MBC, application displays splash screen then MC7 displays error message "unable to launch Media Browser 3"

 

I've stopped and started both systems and the server several times and checked n/w connectivity on all machines and to content which is stored on two NAS boxes, everything OK

Somehow you have gotten an incompatible version of Chocolate installed.  Uninstall it using the configurator.  Then go into MBC and re-install Chocolate using the new plug-in catalog inside MBC.

Don't know if this is relevant. When I started MBC it said that there was a new version of the Chocolate theme so I clicked on update, then stopped and restarted MC7.
