joggs 24
Hi, I am using Emby Server 3.2.28.3 beta on windows 10 pro. Everyone (ie any anonymous user with a browser) that visits http://<embyserver>:8096 gets logged in as me by default. The loginscreen flashes by for a millisecond and then the user gets to the dashboard immediately as me. I am the only user set up in the system. Doesn't matter what browser brand or computer or ip adress. Is there any obvous things I can check before a re installation? Will an uninstall wipe the library and all settings? I rather keep them if possible. I am still searching around for a setting that I could try to alter, but nothing found yet. Solution darkassassin07 418 Posted August 23, 2017 Solution Share Posted August 23, 2017 If you are the only user, and that user has no password, there is no need for a login screen Do you have a password set? Are there multiple user accounts on your emby server?

Just create a new user (for yourself), make sure you set a password, grant it admin privileges, then disable the other user. Once you can confirm you can log in and manage the server via the dashboard, remove the other user.
