Hi,

When trying to playback Live TV I just get the circle spinning icon and nothing more, when looking at the logs I can see the following filling up the log:

I'm running Windows 10 with emby server 3.2.27.0 and DVBLink backend.

I never had any problems when I was on Ubuntu and emby server 3.2.26.0

Attached are the logs

Also recorded TV playback seems to take forever to start (approx 30 seconds) not sure if this is linked to this problem.

Well I never got dvblink working in Emby reliably, despite being a long time dvblink user. So I guess it's similar [emoji3]

@@pünktchen are you seeing this as well? thanks.

No problems with MediaPortal in browsers, Theater and Android mobile. Only in Android TV, but there are no errors server side and it's not new!

I didn't have any problems with DVBLink and Emby on Ubuntu and I have tried every other TV backend but DVBLink is by the far the best for my needs. Would be really nice to get it working properly with Emby on Windows

Is it an issue with the .ts file format because recordings take around 30 seconds to start playing (was a few seconds on Linux).

Setting the plugin to use direct stream instead of api works although takes a little while to load up. However I monitored the open streams in dvblink while using the api method and I can see the stream opening then closing about 5-10 seconds later.

You can setting the plugin to direct stream the live tv to emby vs having dvblink pre-transcode before it gets to emby?

SOLVED!

Weirdly even though the DVBLink server is on the same machine with the IP set to localhost it has the issues mentioned, now that I've set it to the actual IP of the machine everything works flawlessly. Recordings play near instantly and live tv play withing about 5 seconds.

Not sure is this is down to how routing is done through emby or on my network. I'm running on a Netgear Nighthawk R7000 with Tomato Firmware so there shouldn't be a problem there but who knows.
