Emby Server Fails to Restart

Hi,

 

When pressing restart server Emby fails with an unhandled exception. See attached logs.

 

Running latest Emby server (3.2.27.0) on Windows 10

Try rebooting your machine. Windows did not release the port binding in time for the new instance and that's why it wasn't able to start successfully.

Rebooting starts the server successfully but whenever I try to restart the same thing happens and I need to restart the whole machine.

Yea for whatever reason it's just not releasing it immediately on your system. It's something we see every now and then.

I tried pressing shutdown instead of restart and it booted back fine. Then I pressed restart after that and it seemed to restart ok. I will monitor it over the next few days and see if it happens again.
