So a lot of my schedules are there, but a lot are also missing, See below image.  I don't know how to troubleshoot whether of not this is emby or SD..  suggestions on how to do that would be great.

I've had this happen. Most of the channels will have duplicates in the higher numbers. Take a look at those and see if the data is there. In my case it was. What I did was to use the HDHR setup software and remove those high number channels. After a rescan in the server, the data was moved to the lower numbers. Remember you'll need to do this with both of your primes. I hope this helps.

But why does emby cut out the first HD channel info?  I see that i have a "History" and two "History HD" channels, like you said.. Ill try to remove some. It actually looks like the 1000's are the ones i should be keeping: https://www.tivocommunity.com/community/index.php?threads/comcast-xfinity-is-moving-most-hd-channels-around-4-20-good-test-for-rovi-guide-service.549182/

I'm still curious why emby decided not to show those channels even if they are duplicates.

Is it available in SD? Do they provide information for those channels?

yes.

I don't know why the data gets allocated, that way. I would have thought they all get populated, but they don't. @@Luke?

They should, comcast is doubling up channels as they move them to new channel locations, they should all be displayed meanwhile if that can be fixed please? :)

Do you also have logs? And best after a run of the scheduled task...

also I'm using the built in emby livetv function not NPVR any longer.

How?  I looked around the HDHR setup and cant seem to find how to remove channels...

EDIT: nevermind....  lol.

Ok, so I cleaned up my channels, removed SD duplicates as well as all of the XXX duplicates to the 1000 channels..  Guide looks much better... I still have a few instances where emby is not populating channels if there are more that one channel with a similar name.. Schedules direct has guide info for this channel but its not populated in emby.  I think its related to whatever logic emby is doing to non populate duplicate channels?  I have no clue.  Just FYI.

1313 - BTN HD

1314 - BTN Alternate HD

Yeah, I have a few that still aren't populated. They are channels that I don't watch. With 600+ channels, and removing around half of them, I couldn't be bothered looking for more lol. Just remember that both primes need to be identical and have fresh and equal channel scans. When I compare mine, there is a descrepency of one channel. So I've missed something. When was the last time you ran a channel scan with your HDHR software?

few weeks ago when I moved back to HDHR, from NPVR and Ceton Infinitv6 ETH.

Compare your channel count, and see if they match with each other.

I just realized what you were saying... I only have one tuner hooked up at the moment..  I was borrowing a friends for testing, waiting for the rack mount version to show up on ebay, it finally did!   I just did a Doofus and bought it!!   :)   I'm glad you are rubbing off on me.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SiliconDust-HDHomeRun-PRIME-Ethernet-CableCARD-6-Tuners-HDHR3-6CC-3x2-/272806494619?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=F0Q81%252FqqcaOnflYyHBqmNQJ6Yws%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc   Scroll down to see actual listing.

But back to the original issue, no double tuners at the moment, I have removed the second tuner and everything was cleared out.

Holy crap! I wanted one of those, but it was $1700 lol. You got an amazing deal!. Damn it! Lol.

As you only have one unit, then it is possibly an emby issue. The data is definitely available for that network, on SD?

Yes it was available on SD before i "X"ed that channel,  strange...   I'm down to (almost) only 1XXX channels..   so there are no real doubles anymore, not sure why its acting up..

Yea, I called SiliconDust for a price, when they said 1700 I was a little shocked,  I was like "but its only two regular primes in a box!?"  their response was "it's geared toward commercial installs" lol..      Yea 195 is cheaper than I would have gotten two new primes for, so I jumped on it!
