Force rescan if library is corrupt (without user interaction)?

My HTPC quite sometimes does not shut down by IR remote. In real life, this means an hard power down with the power switch.

Quite often this seams to lead to some corruption in the Kodi database, and at the next start the plugin (oder Kodi?) complains that some media file can't be found. It asks whether the scan should continue anyway. A repair sync solves this problem quickly, but requires user interaction.

Is it possible that the plugin could do this automatically? I.e. something seems to be wrong with the library, just inform the user about that (without the need to press any button), and than start a repair sync in the background? This would be more user friendly.
