EuG0000 3
I've been having this problem for a while. When I click on cast details, it opens the detail page that's completely empty and is "loading..." (the wait cursor/circle is spinning) but it never loads (just keeps spinning and spinning) My "Refresh People" task says it's been completed, so I'm not sure what's going on. Any ideas? Is there a certain log file I can look at, etc. etc.? Thanks.

EuG0000 3
Here you go. I've cut out the most recent portion of the log and obfuscated my IP addresses. Thanks,
Luke 36884
Did you forget to attach it? Also please avoid cutting portions of the log because in order to best help you we really need to see the whole picture of what is happening with your server. thanks ! Luke 36884
Unfortunately it appears there is a problem with your library database file. 2017-07-11 12:13:32.4230 Error HttpServer: Error processing request *** Error Report *** Version: 3.2.22.0 Command line: C:\Users\EuG\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\MediaBrowser.ServerApplication.exe -service Operating system: Microsoft Windows NT 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True Processor count: 8 Program data path: C:\Users\EuG\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server Application directory: C:\Users\EuG\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system Corrupt: database disk image is malformed You will need to shutdown the server, then delete this file C:\Users\EuG\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\data\library.db Then start back up and run a library scan + live tv guide refresh. Please be aware this database file also contains watch data. Since it has become corrupted it might not be possible to backup data, but if you'd like to try then you can learn about that here: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Backup Thanks. Luke 36884
If you're wondering why this happened, the most likely cause is typically a sudden termination of the Emby Server process while attempting to save data to disk. Examples of that would be a loss of power, or suddenly forcing a machine shutdown, or sometimes aborting the emby server process.
EuG0000 3
Thanks - I'll give it a shot. This is like 3rd time it has happened, but I got some issue with my machine crashing very often, so that explains it. I have backup plug-in, so I'll try to back & restore using that. I also have Trakt plug in that syncs watch data, so worst case I think it can restore that. Thank you for your help.

EuG0000 3
So this worked. I can load actors and my TV guide shows up now. However, the library refresh didn't finish successfully. I got an error: Scan media library failed.8 minutes ago Exception of type 'SQLitePCL.pretty.SQLiteException' was thrown. Do you know what the issue might be? I'm attaching the log. Thanks. Luke 36884
That is the exact same error happening again, about sqlite complaining about a corrupted database file. Sorry to say but at this point you will probably want to test your system for possible hardware failures. It could be hard disk, memory, or anything else. And there is always the possibility that it is just a problem in your Windows installation.
EuG0000 3
Just to be clear, there was no crash this time. I can try to reinstall Windows if you think that might help...

Right, and the fact that there was no system crash is what is telling me you might have a hardware failure. If you had a system crash and this happen, then there's any number of possible explanations, which might include hardware failure, but also potentially other things. A windows reinstall is worth a shot, but you probably want to run chkdsk to look for hard disk problems, memtest for memory failures, etc.

Luke 36884
No because it's not a database dump.
