Frank Drebin 2
Hi! How do you add mapped network drives in Flexraid? I tried the unc path \\mypc2\A (a stands for the drive letter) in Unique volumes but that doesnt seem to work :s, i allways get an error. One time i deleted all the drives in unique volumes and suddenly ALL my drives + network drives showed up but after i added drives again it dissapeared :s ( I didnt need ALL the drives in the storage pool). So I made a new pool, Expert Mode then Storage Pool. Also i've added all unc path in System control panel/network drives. I already asked it on the forum but it takes long to get a reply. Please help me emby, i love you and noway i will ever change to another media server (on windows 7 i still use Mediabrowser II + Gamebrowser II) My local pc is on Windows 7 and the network drives are on Windows 10. Ps. The reason im using it on Windows 7 is because theres no update on Gamebrowser for Emby (i want to manual change the extensions for each emulator, and that is possible in Gamebrowser II). PsPs, I miss Redshirt, I wish he was still around. Friendly Regards from a Belgian noob

Frank Drebin 2
1.Right click on start/run 2.type: services.msc 3.right click on Flexraid Raid over file system/Properties. 4.click Login/this account. fill in Windows login and password. Press OK 5.Right click on Flexraid Raid and press Start (if you havent already). 6.Open flexraid.htmlgive your login (i also made this the same login/password as my windows login. To do this, go to System Control Panel/System Tools). 7. In System Control Panel, go to External Network Shares 8. Fill in your UNC paths 9. If you havent made a new configuration go to "New Configuration. Select Expert Mode/Storage Pool only. 10. Go to your configuration (mine is Games) and fill in the unc paths you also made in External network shares. BEWARE!! I TRIED THIS ONLY WITH UNC PATHS WITHOUT A LOCAL FIXED DRIVE AND IT DIDNT WORK!! Fill in at least one local drive ! 11. Go to Storage Pool Merge, choose a drive letter (mine is W:\), save and press "Publish/restart" (next to save). It will load and you get a message "Operation success" 12. If everyting went well you'll see the network drives+the local drive in your pool 13. You dont have to map a network drive, just fill in the unc path (but its easy to copy things over from your local pc to the network pc when you have mapped drives). Also make sure you have full access/administrator rights. Edited July 11, 2017 by Frank Drebin
