skivy71 5
Hi, I'm trying to add the epg resource (xml file) to the playlist i'm auto generating and it appears emby isn't asking my backend for it.. #EXTINF:0 channel-id="115" tvg-logo="http://server:3142/logo?sid=10303"url-epg="http://server:3142/schedule?sid=10303" tvg-name="BBC One","BBC One" http://server:3142/channel?sid=10303 I got that from the live tv wiki. Do i need to enable the lookup in the emby server UI? Thanks Neil
Luke 37008
i've never seen that url-epg thing before so that is not supported. You will want to use the available choices in the interface, either schedules direct or xml tv.
skivy71 5
I got the attribute from this site http://xmtvplayer.com/build-m3u-file, which is linked from the https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Live%20TV Seemed like a good, 'one stop shop' method of configuring all live tv via an m3u and has the benefit of keeping the xml file size's manageable, as its per channel. I do believe that a good number of IPTV providers will soon be adding this epg data to the m3u, like i have. Kodi already supports it.
