horstepipe 356
hey at the moment Kodi fetches movie information like budget, revenue, won oscars and rotten tomatoes rating from the Kodi skin helper service script. Why don't we make Emby server to provide these data to Kodi? Because now you need to get an OMDB api key (which requires donation) to receive those information, it would be way more comfortable if you have it server-side, instead of setting up the API keys on every Kodi client. best regards
marcelveldt 736
I already looked at this a while back but it wasn't possible. Besides that, can't you spare as little as 1 dollar to get some rich metadata? Oh and you don't have to pay, the default is that requests are rate limited and you can even register for a free key is what I'm told. It's about the idea to have an (Emby) server providing all data instead of the need to set it up on every client device. But if it's not possible, no big deal... Thank you. Luke 37008
Not all of these fields are used by Emby so we are not allocating space for them in our database.

Luke 37008
If Emby apps start using them, then certainly yes.
