Apparently once you all stopped doing this emby miss-identifies live tv as requiring transcoding. I can gladly wait a few seconds for it to be identified properly and then my system to direct play live tv which for me offers far superior performance. As it is right now its a weird annoying confusing thing that watching live tv via emby theater app it transcodes, take that same program and record it ( and do literally nothing to it ) and play it back and it is direct play.
