DSD music through direct streaming in KODI

I use KODI to play hi-res music (24/96, 24/192, DSD) through emby's music direct streaming without downgrading sample rate in Shield TV (v5.2). When playing FLACs, it will play as soon as possible. But when I play DSD music, it needs to download the entire song and then play back. I tested other ways to play DSDs through internet (WebDAV/Samba/Plex...etc) in KODI, they all play as soon as possible. I love Emby, so how can I deal with it ?

BTW, Server's dashboard doesn't show the music playing status from KODI.

Thanks in advance.

Sample file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0ZTRj_ucbmnRkVHMlVycXNKejQ/view?usp=sharing

The file is from http://www.wechdomi.org/english/index.html and converted from dff to dsf.

All DSDs (dsf files) I tested have the same situation.

BTW, when Emby for KODI download the DSD file for playing, KODI will stop responding from the remote control, and after downloading and playing, Kodi will respond to the remote control.

What extension should be used? An extension is needed in Kodi, for the file to playback.

Can you install this build, repair your music library to update the extensions and let me know if it corrects your issue? Install the build via add-ons > install from zip. Repair your music by launching Emby for kodi > Repair local database > Music, ok.

plugin.video.emby-2.3.49a.zip

It is working now.

Install new build, and then Repair local database (Music). Kodi now plays DSD music as 176Khz without any delay.

Thank you very much!!! Love it ^_^
