Did that happen before with prior versions of the plugin on apple tv?

 

We made some specific change to how auto skip is handled in the apple tv client.

I've just tried with version .87, but the result is the same.

Am i the only one?

Can I see another log. I don't see intro skip in there.

Maybe just my phone.

Okay.

Can you make sure debug logging is on.

Turn off the option that sends a message to the client that the intro/credit was skipped,  under Auto Skip tab.

and try again.

I have a feeling the message may be a problem.

@chef - Just a minor cosmetic thing that otherwise spoils an awesome looking screen design ;)

If the TV series in question does not have any 'clearlogo.png' - then you get a nasty image instead.

Cool, there is a "HasLogo" boolean check in the API. I should have implemented that.

Did you also see the message problem with apple tv. It's a weird one.

I fixed it too. 

Maybe one more release on V2?

Then we would also have an idea of how many people are currently using the plugin, since the usage counts are unknown. 

Like you said, it would be nice to know if people are generally satisfied, or they completely abandoned it. 😆

ok - I'll reach out to @Abobader as I'm not sure we have the option of 'Poll's anymore but that would be the simplest way to get general feedback ..

Nice.

Yea definitely keep v2 public updated with the fixes - but I think any extra features/enhancements need to be held for v3/Core integration or the Plugin that complements it.

I'm pretty sure the editor is a must have.

I can't see depending on the detection data alone. It is good data, but there is always going to be that margin of error.

Without doubt - while the quality of the data is the primary goal, as you say, the ability to edit it is the MAJOR advantage this feature has over Plex.  I also believe Plex does not have any 'Outro/Credit' recognition either - so functionally, it surpasses Plex in a number of important areas.

  • Need to keep user edited data option on rescan
  • Fixed: apple tv client message ignored
  • Logo image check before drawing it in the DOM

Do I try and bother with the Mr. Rogers problem, or just make sure to added large single season series to the exclude list automatically..  😬... For now....
