FreeNAS and Emby

Hi. I've gotten Emby to work quite nicely under Windows, but that was on my PC. I decided to set up a NAS for my home network and am using the latest FreeNAS. And configuring the server went beautifuly, however, whenever I try to add anything to the Emby database, it turns around and tells me that there was an error and that is the end of the conversation with Emby. Does anyone know why this might be happening and what I need to do to resolve the issue?

Got it! It's stupid, but I forgot there can't be any spaces. So, my next question then is that I can change my password and create passwords, but I cannot use a pin. I try to add a pin and the rainbow wheel of death shows up and that's that. It never confirms or moves on from the wheel of death. :(

The user name. It said there was an error if I put in something like "James Earl Jones" for the user name. But if I put in "JEJones" it went through.

Plus, it still won't take pins. When I put a pin in and tell it to let me use the pin for in-network logging in, then I hit the save button, it just sits there forever with the spinning wheel and never takes that. I'm sure it's a config error somewhere, but I'm not really that worried about pins, even though it would be nice to be able to use them. :)

You're right, although when you create a user it is spelled out for you.

As far as saving the pin goes, that's resolved for the next release of Emby Server. thanks !
