appie 0
I'm having problems with my Emby Server 3.2.16.0 installation on my Synology DS712+ running DSM 6.1.1-15101 Update 2. Somehow, all my scheduled IPTV recordings end up being about 1-2 minutes in length. I've tried disabling transcoding, but still the huge .ts files are about 500MB and 1-2 mins in length. It happens across shows, for all scheduled recordings and I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Appreciate your advise and hope to resolve this soonest as my entire purpose for getting Emby Premiere was to enable scheduled recording for my favourite shows! Luke 37058
Can you please also attach the recording conversion log? Thanks.
appie 0
Apologies! Didn't realise there was also a transcode log to upload. Please find the attached, although didn't see anything useful, besides the fact that it stopped after 2 minutes as if the file was done.. Luke 37058
Probably because it is a 2 minute stream that we're going to have to autoloop. We'll add that for the next release, thanks.
appie 0
Ah so what you're saying is that the IPTV provider creates a 2 minute stream and you'll have to keep looping it to get it to record 2 minutes at a time? Any idea when this new release would come out? I took a month Emby Premiere to specifically test out the recording feature. Is there a way to put my subscription on hold until the new version is out so I can test that? It kind of defeats the purpose if a month (or longer) from now the recording feature is updated and I wont be able to test it because my subscription expired. Appreciate your help and looking forward to trying out the updated version!
Luke 37058
No, but you can verify this by putting your stream url into a browser. The browser will just start downloading it. See if it stops after the same two minutes. If it doesn't, then the problem is something else entirely and I will need direct access so that I can test personally. Thanks.
