Would it be possible to get a small section in the emby dashboard to display the servers CPU util / mem usage / networking statistics?

It's a nice idea but our focus is really on media management and playback. What I can commit to though is that if there is a community member interested in building this sort of widget, then I can make it possible for it to be inserted into the dashboard.

I would love to see this as well for windows. Would be helpful when messing with the server remotely

to know what is going on.

I use PRTG for windows.

There also is an app for both android and ios.

Yeah this thing is way more than I need. Was really just wanting to see cpu and ram from a distance.

PRTG is complete overkill. As others have said it would be useful to be able to see CPU / RAM usage and network (input / output) in the dashboard remotely.

Webmin works well for my Linux Emby server. I allows quick access to current system performance. I use manage engine for monitoring over longer durations of time.

Yes, this is mostly very interesting especially with some SMART values and reporting like email / push notification on the phone. I guess the most installations are on simple client hardware, so not everyone is capable of a dedicated reporting tool.

thanks, nice addition and interesting plugin!

Would still be good to have the cpu / network usage on the main dashboard page

If you are in windows you could check out core temp application.

It puts all those stats in the sys tray. I find it very useful

Thanks for the suggestion - the initial request around this feature in the dashboard is that a lot of us manage our servers remotely through the web interface so a tray icon wouldn't be useful

The Playback Reporting plugin does have a resource Tab which seems to graph out CPU usage of time.

I'm not sure it is real-time (although seems to be), and it definitely is not located directly on the dashboard main page, which would be useful. :)

If you are referring to the Playback Reporting plugin.

It's not in there any more, it was scraped about a year ago.

Don't know why.

I use a combo of zabbix and grafana.
