Sound via the Emby App

Hi

I have a Samsung smart TV that i currently use it in the living room.

when watching a film, i can barely hear any speech from it. i have to crank up the volume to full some reason and the other action sequence is extremely loud.

I then have to watch it using the chrome cast which is absolutely fine.

I checked the emby apps sound settings

and turned off all DTS AC3 settings, it didn't make any difference, turned them all on obviously it didn't make any difference either.

I'm not using any external decoders, just what the tv has built in.

media are downloaded from obvious places we know..

but they work fine with other devices, i.e Roku, and emby theatre etc.

so i know its something to do with the emby app... it is up to date.

it would be nice to use the built in app as much as possible.

Is it transcoding in the Samsung app?  Could you post the mediainfo from the web client?  Thanks

Could you post the full mediainfo from the bottom of the webclient?

Is this being played through your TV speakers?

Also, is it messing up everything, or is it just one movie that doesn't play correctly?  I'm not seeing any issues here using the latest version of the app and I'm using a F-series TV also.

Maybe also post a small clip of the video if you can.

Lastly, can you tell us which version of firmware you have?  Sometimes these types of things are fixed by Samsung firmware updates.
