Remote Connection

I am just starting to use Emby over Plex, Plex decided for no reason to stop working at my house awhile ago and now all my remote connections are starting to not work as well, so I found Emby and it is working great on my home network, but I am unsure of how to go about connecting to it remotely and can't find any step by step guide on how to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Open up ports 8920 and 8096 on the firewall, both TCP. What device are you using to access it remotely?
